Priya Rathnam, M.P.H. works in the Division of Compliance Policy in the Office of Compliance at FDA’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN). Priya has worked at CFSAN for over 17 years, and works closely with FDA’s ORA and Office of Chief Counsel in determining regulatory strategies for follow up action. She currently is serving as a co-lead for FDA’s FSMA Phase 2 workgroup for implementation of the Preventive Controls in Human foods regulation.

Debra DeVlieger, is a Consumer Safety Office and National Food Expert in FDA’s ORA and with the agency for 30 yrs. She developed and implemented many regulatory food safety training courses and inspection programs. She is currently serving as a co-lead for implementing the Preventive Controls Human Food regulation. She serves as a member of both the Steering and Editorial Committees for the Seafood HACCP Alliance and the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance.
